Description

UV-excitable blue fluorescent blue dye. Used to label Aβ-proteins, bacteria, histone deacetylase, nucleic acids, peptides, proteins and sugar chains. Applied in studies amplifying/detecting nucleic acid sequences, analyzing peptides, sugar chains, detecting bacteria, as a substrate for measuring acyl protein thioesterase (APT1), α-amylase, aryl sulfatases, β-galactosidases, guanidinobenzoatase, β-lactamase, lipase, phosphatases, protein kinases and xylanase activity. Used in diagnosing/treating traumatic brain injury, treating amyloidogenic disease and as temperature sensor. Can be used as a reference standard for substrates derived from this blue-fluorescent dye (CDX-D0164). Spectral data: &lambda|ex=362, &lambda|em=464.
